Deviation Actions
loes all, i thought i'd take the oppertunity to write a new journal entry. I've recently submitted a couple of deviations. I think i'm getting the hang of Gimp now. I know alot of people swear by Photoshop (Even i did at one point!) But Gimp is just as capable as Photoshop, its just in Photoshop one button will apply an effect, whereas in Gimp several applied filters can get the same effect.
i failed my driving test a few weeks ago. I've put it down to mainly nerves, i felt rushed and stuff so i made silly mistakes like not looking left when pulling away and stuff. I've got another test booked in for 17th of december, fingers crossed, i'll pass >_<.
My laptop... is err a little screwed up. My current windows install says "It is now safe to turn the power off" when shutting down... very Windows95-esque. It also doesn't display a battery monitor... which is not too useful on a laptop tbh. I've got Ubuntu Breezy Badger on here at the moment. But thats a little screwed up too. In particular something i might have installed is annoying Gnome, so much soo that its taking 4-5minutes to startup, thank god for the OpenBox+PyPanel+Conky setup! So i'm gonna shift my data around and backup, and then format put debian sarge on methinks. Install windows again, but on a 5GB Partition, then use Debian as my primary OS.

a proper journal post!
I'm gonna make a proper Journal post after months of neglect. I've been busy with college, recently started the second year some what 3/4 weeks ago. I'm also working now.
I don't think i mentioned before, that i finally got a job. I'm working in "The Little Harp" pub on the clevedon seafront, which is cool to work at, in the evening the sun sets over the esturay, and highlights all the ripples in the high tide. With the wonderfully hilly and somewhat industrial background of Wales, which its few chimneys and sillhouettes of the hills in the background. With that said i'm working loads of hours, which is a cool thing because for once i have a
almost forgot DA!
i've been soo busy recently messing around with Linux and programming, i had practically given up on doing any artwork. Then today i got bored and did some. Currently in Computational Methods, it sucks.
Almost time to go now!

long time no update??
Wow, i've not updated this for a while, so i thought i'd bring you upto speed on my recent events in my life. I've now got a job working at a Pub here in Clevedon. Its really cool the guys there are really friendly and everything. i'm also starting to get the hang of it now, pouring pints and wines etc. This means tho i'm finally getting money again, and looking at my recent bank balance it was kinda needed, i had been picking at my savings, and i've spent £450 since moving here, about 8 weeks ago!
I've looked at booking my final driving test but its like an 8 week wait @_@ so i don't know if i can bug my dad or mum to take me out drivi
Back
I'm back, i've moved house. i'm now not living in a hotel in blackpool anymore. But in a ordinary house, with privacy (unlike the hotel with its guests.) i've just uploaded my new homemade blog onto the internet, its looking cool. Not alot to report other than i've been trying to sort out a Job, and College for September. Whilest avoiding Hay Fever.
